Recent amendments have 'defaced' the country's Constitution, Aaj News reported Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa as saying on Wednesday. Addressing office-bearers of Pakistan Peoples Party in Multan, the Punjab governor blamed Raza Rabbani for what he termed was defacing of the Constitution.

When he was asked to comment about the success of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in the recent by-elections, he said that the Supreme Court (SC) should take action on "irregularities and riggings" in the Punjab by-polls.
